hi, i'v got a 98 gsx600f and the choke has started sticking. i can open the choke using the leaver, but when i close the leaver the choke doesnt close, i have to reach under and push the slider manualy. the cable itself apears free enough but the slider is stiff. any advise would be very welcome as i havnt a clue how to procede. many thanks

Have you tried a bit of WD40 on the slider it self?

Other than that it might be a build up of 'gunk' in the cable it self. There are some pretty cheap cable oilers you can buy.
