C50 case guards question

Hey guys. I just got a pair of case guards off of ebay the other day. Seems to possibly be a problem with the brake pedal hitting the right side guard. It didnt come with any spacers or anything. Am I supposed to have spacers on the right side or what? anyone else had this problem? The left side will fit perfect. I have a '05 C50. Thanks for any replies.

RE: C50 case guards question

By case guards, do you mean engine guard bars? These are the ones which mount on the left/right front sides of the frame and allow you to mount highway peg...

yes, engine case guards, I think I may have figured it out though. the bottom mounts of the bars are supposed to be mounted on the inside of the frame, rather than the outside....

If you are talking about the Suzuki engine guards they do come with 2 spacers but you put them on the top bolts. I would suggest that if your brake pedal hits them that you adjust the brake pedal back a little bit, i will have to look at mine and see how close they come but i have the suzuki ones and they do not hit.

Greetings...If I'm not mistaken the case guards for 01-04's and 05-08's are slightly different and not interchangeable.
Hope this helps
