I hope that is true for 2004 vs 1400 GLP. I am buying one for $300 that needs the ECU replaced as well as all the stuff on the handlebar plus the handlebar.I hope I get the right piece. Some have 8 and 4 spade connectors and some have 8 and 6. I will know which to get when I see the old unit The thing has 4000 mi on it. Should be able to make some coin with it. I have a pristine 2003 GLP also. That one backfires in the left cylinder a lot when running slowly. I had a leak at the pipe/cylinder joint when I got stock pipes to replace the drag pipes due to an angle error. I have stopped most of it with 1/8" Johns Manville glass rope but still not perfect.
