I recently purchased a 2006 c90t. It just doesn't seem to run right. Have to downshift at 40---50mphs. Had it back to dealer twice and they tell me its ok. Anybody out htere with similiar problems? Jim

 

 

I really can't help. I have a C50T. I too have to down shift 5 to 4 when going up inclines, but I think that's the nature of the beast
and gearing. I could be wrong since you should have gobs of power over what I have.

I purchse my c90t on 3/15 and have put almost 900 miles on it touring through the hill country in central Texas. It seems to me that 5th gear is mostly suited for speeds > 45. However, I have not noticed any lugging even at speed around 40. I am a fairly heavy guy at 260. I am really enjoying the bike and am impressed by the quality of the ride! how many miles? i put after market pipes filter and programmer on my c90t i made all the diff i went form down shifting at 45 five to ganing speed up hill at 40mph in 5 gear
