I have a 98 c90t and I like the looks of the stock pipes, but I would like to get better sound and more power. I would like to try to bypass the "black box" that ties into the pipes from the manifold. The "black box" lies within the frame just below the fuel tank. I was wondering if anyone has tried taking the box out and looping the pipes to close the gap when the box was removed. In looking at the setup it would only require a "U" shaped piece of pipe to bypass the box. Please reply to this forum or my email at firstdon1001@sbcglobal.net. Thanks.
