Does anyone have Suzuki floor boards?

Hi folks! I was wondering if anyone had changed their pegs to the Suzuki floor boards? If so... do you like 'em? Why?
Whatabout heel to toe shifters? Anyone?

I'm considering changing out my original pegs for something more substantial.

Thanks.

RE: Does anyone have Suzuki floor boards?

I ride a 2005 M50 w/pegs. Easier for around town, and cornering is better. But on long rides, (more then a few hours) floor boards are nice. I've cheated to get the best of both worlds. I've left the pegs, bought a pair of used universal floor boards off ebay for $25 and ground the bottoms level with an indent for them to "sit" on the pegs. I then drilled some bolt holes and rigged 2 metal straps to hold the platform tightly to the pegs. These boards are shorter then Suzuki boards so I don't have a problem shifting. I also have highway pegs. As for heel/toe shifters they're nice if you have sensitive toes and no steel toed boots, or hard leather toe boots. But I'm not changing mine out, if I had a cruiser set up, sure.

Thanks! I appreciate your response. I've read somewhere else that the suzuki floorboards were uncomfortable for that person. I'm still not sure what to do...

The best part on floor boards are increased foot positions. since I have 4 positions anyway with the engine guards and foot pegs I don't really have the need unless like I said it's a really long ride. The trick is to try a ride with some, if you have a buddy, or can test ride a used bike at a dealer. I do know some guys who really like them, but they admit to liking the look and handling of pegs better. Even though the boards can actually corner the same. And heel toe shifters fall into the same type of like/ dislike. Really though, lets be honest, riding a motorcycle is really all about fulfilling ones own personal preference!:D

Keep the rubber side down.

I installedmy newCobra Swept Floorboards - they are really nice! Highly recommended, and a snap to install.
The only downfall will be taking tight turns... a very high probability of scraping these sweet chrome boards.
