Just picked up a 2006 Boulevard M50. About to buy some black Vance and Hines Twin Slash Staggered pipes to put on it. Do I need to have a fuel controller installed prior to putting these pipes on? Or will it run fine without the FC?

Eventually I am going to get the Cobra FI2000 PowerPro Tuner.... unless of course I need it to put those pipes on... Anyone have any experience with that one?

 

FC won't be needed unless you also change the air filter to a less restrictive type.
