Default M50 seat

Has anyone replaced their stock seat, and is Saddle Gel comfortable at all?

I purchased a Saddleman touring seat off Ebay and have logged 480 miles on it this weekend and love it.

I like the stock one, althought I have been looking for a little wider back seat, would also like to find a nice back rest that will work with the stock seat.

I sent mine out to http://www.americanasoftseats.com They put gel and a little memory foam in your seat and it is SOOO much better on long rides. Plus cheaper

I agree with jd here...I sent my seat out to them on Christmas eve. I got back this week, installed it and started riding to work again. It is nice. I haven't been on any long trips yet, but teh half-hour ride to & from work has been much better. The most notable difference is the seat acts like a shock absorber. I can't recall that happening before.

I wouldn't purchased a new seat, so this is a great compromise.

Thanks jd for the tip!
