what type of oil??

is it ok to use 5w40 full synthetic rotella in my 2008 m50???this is the oil i used in my vstar with no problems and it ran smooth and shifted smooth.. and if not what oil do you all use???

Hi,

That will be just fine. Change it, along with the filter, every 2000 miles and you'll be groovy.
