BLVD S50

Got a few questions about the Boulevard S50 I'm not an experienced rider, but I'm learning as I go. Looking over the qualities of this model I just have a few questions about it for some of you experienced riders.
-I know with other models theres been an issue with carburetors, and a jet kit is needed. Keep in mind I'm still new to this, would it be expensive for a jet kit on a cruiser?
-Also I'm looking for S50 owner testimonies please.

Thanks
Jo

RE: BLVD S50

Well the question is why you need to re-jet your carbs? Maybe you are putting on new exhaust system? The re-jetting has to do with the amount of airflow and fuel mixture to your engine. If the bike is orginal state, you don't need to touch the carbs. When re-jetting is the subject it is because I'm putting on new exhaust systems. If I'm putting on slip on mufflers well I got by with out re-jetting, but re-jetting is recomended so the pipes are tuned to you engine. Rejetting to a bigger size will use more fuel. The rejeting kit is about $80.00 and you get a few sizes. I on the other hand have not rejetted yet and I'm happy with the results I have. I hope that this helps.
