electrical problem
 

My friend is having electrical trouble with her 2007 S50...the fuse for the signal lights, brake lights and horn has blown twice now. As well, the signal indicator on the speedo housing sometimes doesn't indicate when the right turn signal is on. It always works for the left side, at least each time we've checked.

We've replaced the fuse once, and it blew shortly after. Next we opened up the housing on the left handle bar, cleaned the exposed contacts with a pencil eraser and sprayed contact cleaner throughout the entire assembly.

So far the fuse hasn't blown again (a short test ride), but the problem with the speedo mounted indicator operating intermittently when using the right turn signal still exists. This leads me to believe there is an actual failing component as opposed to just bad contacts, and I'm expecting the fuse to blow again soon.

Has anyone seen this before? Is it an indication of a faulty signal relay? Any help would be much appreciated.
