no gasket found in header pipe?
Can anyone tell me if a 05 suzuki boulevard is supose to have a gasket in the header pipe.
Mine doesn't appear to have one. It doesn't appear to leak but I have a bad backfire problem. Could this be my problem? Thanks

exhaust header pipe?
only thing i can think of is if something is igniting unburnt fuel in the pipes? otherwise backfires occur within the engine itself.
a gasket would only prevent an exhaust leak.
