New to me 2007 S40. Great bike! But when it runs the exhaust ....squeaks (?). There is high-pitched noise coming from the pipe. Is there any mod i can do to the pipe to get rid of it (punch a baffle or something?)

Drove, did you get an answer to your question about the high pitched exast noise comming from your S40? I have the same noise in the exast of my S40 too, and am looking to find out what it is. Thanks, musicdorian

 

Nope - no solution. Learning to live with it.

 

replace stock muffler with a HD Dyna or Sportster muffler; sounds better and runs better
