Rear Turn Signal Relocation?
 

Just bought a boulevard S50 a few weeks ago. I am trying to mount saddlebags. Purchased the stock saddlebag supports and Saddlemen Midnight Express Desperado bags. Problem is that the rear turn signals are in the way. What do you suggest as a way to relocate the turn signals? I am seeing lots of relocation kits for Harleys but not for the suzuki. The only thing I have been able to find is a 90 degree steel brackets that you drill into the fender. Any other suggestions? Here is the bracket.

Saddlemen bracket?
 

I just got done packing up a Saddlemen cutaway bag to the seller as I could not get it too look right on my bike. It came with a bracket that mounts to the license plate. I removed the turn signals and found that on the S50 the signals press fit into a round slot on the round fender rail and secure with a screw from the bottom. The screw was hard to remove as it must have had locktite on it and I had to use an impact wrench. There was no easy way to secure the turn signal to the bracket so I had to fabricate a mini bracket that attached to the other bracket, it looked like cr@p (not too sure how moderated this forum is). Then the bags were too big and the Saddlemen bracket did not attach easily. So I am going to go with the stock smaller factory Suzuki bags and hopefully I can keep the stock turn signals. I just ordered already some LED turn signals that have a screw mount that could just go right on the fenders. However with LED signals you would have to use signal load equalizer or they will blink way too fast. With the LED's they would have just bolted to the Saddlemen plate bracket. Just seems like not a lot of aftermarket stuff for the S50. Cobra does make a dedicated bike specific saddlebag support. Leatherlyke also makes a S50 mount kit that has the plate bracket supplied but it looks like a jury rig to me as well. With the bobbed rear fender it's not easy to mount a combo tail light/signal combo like I was able to do with my Shadow Aero. Make you a good deal on the LED turn signals!

Hi Captain: You can find turn signal relocation kit from here. That will fit all suzuki bikes. Or you can talk to the online technical person as well.

If your leds are blinking too fast, switching wires around sometimes solves that. I am not sure on the intruder, but works in general

I just relocated my wife's and my turn signals on our bikes (650s) using a piece of 1 1\2 x 1 1\2 angle and 2 old 14mm extra sockets that the light ends fit in..
They are mounted where the reflector was over the plate and under the tail light
