S40 2006 Advice
I just purchased a 2006 S40. In regards to the lean/backfiring problem. I would like to make the modifications to the carb as explained in rider magazine buy removing the white spacer under the diaphram slide and adjusting the low speed mixture screw. Has anyone done these mods on a new bike and is there any negatives to doing this during the breakin period. I would also like to swap the muffler out for possibly a jardine etc. any recomendations on that and what other adjustments need to be done when doing this. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
