RE: any suzuki owners out there?
here I isz. I wanted the kawasaki, mostly because i never had one before, but it was slightly to tall for me. I've always had luck with the few suzuki's i've had, so it was the next logical choice. '06 dr200se, blue, 11xx miles.

RE: any suzuki owners out there?
I'm proud to ride my DR650 out here on Maui and it goes everywhere those little trail bikes go. Hey, if there are any other DR650 owners out there who've done some good mods, please let us know. I droped my primary drivesprocket from 14 to 13, put on a set of hand gaurds, installed Perelli Rally-Cross 90-10s and threw on some Dirt Bags to haul my stuff. Next, I want to install new bars and lift them so I can stand up a little easier. I might even buy a larger secondary sprocket that I can put on before I go on the more technical rides. This bike has all the power you will ever need, but its a bit hard to control on the washed out single track.

I have a DRZ400SM and I love it. Great for riding on street and quite capable on fireroads and two tracks around here. I haven't gone thru the first set of tires yet, but will be looking for a little more agressive tire when I buy new ones. Out riding with a 900 Ninja down on the curves in AL and kept up fine as long as the curves kept coming. No comparison on straight stretches (obviously).

Sold my SV650S with race-can on ( sounded awesome ) and bought brand new DRZ400SM coz i wanted something slower ! ! Fool me ! ! You can keep your sports-type bikes ! ! Much more comfy , plenty grunty enough , more likely to keep my licence , looks stunning ! What more do you need for the roads ! ! I am slightly biased because i first got into my love of biking by off-roading
