Default Flasher Relay or wiring diagram drz400sm

Just wondering if any of you have replaced your flasher relay to adjust for LEDs in the system. I have replaced the tail assembly with LEDs and now my turn signals flash fast. I have the Suzuki part number, but would like to purchase a more reasonably priced relay. What is the generic part for this?

Thanks

I have read in other forums were people changed to LED, I think it was in the EX 500 forum, that a resistor is required to slow the flashing down.

Hmmm. . . that is one way of doing it. The only problem is that defeats the power saving of an LED. I'll check out the other forums though.

Mine does the same it flashes real fast after i put in led tail and head lights. not really a problem but it will probably wear out the leds quicker I would imagine. Oh and there is a resistor needed to slow them down as I understand it. let me know what you come up with

I've been wanting to stay away from using a resistor, but cannot find a plug and play LED turn signal relay for this bike.[:@] Here a couple of links.

I will be buying one of these and hooking it in where the current relay is.

It will probably take a couple of jumper wires, but can be done cleanly and will also be able to return to original without any mess.
