WON'T TURN OVER AT ALL
HI,WAS ON A TRIAL SPIN AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD AFTER RAISING UP THE SUSPENSION OF MY DR 650 BUT APPARENTLY I RAISED IT TOO HIGH AND FELL OVER WHEN I STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN,PAINT ME EMBARRASSED!SO THEN UPON GETTING IT BACK UP ON BOTH TIRES AND THE TRANS IN NEUTRAL AND THE CLUTCH HANDLE PULLED IN THE ELECTRIC STARTER WON'T FIRE AT ALL BUT THE HEAD LITE WAS ON SO I HAD POWER.ANYONER KNOW OF WHAT THE DEAL IS,YOUR FEEDBACK WOULD BE GRATEFULLY APPRECIATED,THANK YOU
I'm having this same problem right now with my DR650. Battery is OK, so are spark plug and fuses. I think it's a solenoid or something, but I'm going to take it in and get the experts to fix it!
in the housing for the clutch lever, the part thats fixed to the bars, theres a sensor inside that detects the clutch lever being pulled in to allow the bike to turn over,id be looking around that area for damage or water,if no damage then spraywith wd40
