96 sidekick

I have a 96 sidekick with the 3-speed auto trans. that has a p0470 code (torque converter control circuit malfunction). Has anyone else dealt with this? Is it most likely the solenoid? Any help would be appreciated

I think the P0470 is a symptom of the rough idle..
