sidekick sport-1998 Clutch problem
 

i have had this car about a year. Replaced complete clutch last winter, then clutch master began leaking. Have replaced it with two different reman units and a new, not rebuilt one. Can not get it to pump up. we also changed the clutch slave with a reman unit.
There is a small metal part in the line directly below the master cyl. What is it Could this be my problem? This part is about 1/2 dia. and 1 1/2" long. Hopefully someone can help me with this,
