Default 01 marauder VZ800 no electrical

Went for a ride yesterday. Was out about an hour and ride through a little rain. Not sure if that is related or not. A while after I was out of the rain probably 20 minutes in dry weather the bike shut off on me. I was merging into a highway on one of those loop around on ramps. (Right hand turn). Now I have no power at all like the battery is dead. Even though it is charged

I thought it was really strange for the bike to shut off on me like that especially while riding. Up until that point it had been running just fine. Oil light and temp light never came on. It just shut off. I thought I had somehow stalled it and tried to restart, but noticed my instrument panel was dead. No neutral light or anything.

Had to haul the bike home

When the bike arrived at home, I pulled the battery and put it on my charger/maintainer overnight. It indicated it was fully charged this morning, so I put it in the bike and turned the key to the "On" position. Still no lights. Like the battery isn't even connected.

Default Found it!

One of the 30A fuses next to the ignition relay had blown. (Found behind the left side cover. Right next to the battery) I noticed the hot wire coming from the battery was loose on the terminal in front of the fuse. I assume That is why it popped. Easy fix. We are back in business.
