Hello guys, I'm new here so not sure if I'm in the right place, but here's my question:
Does anybody knows about how long can I ride a gs550l during summer time in Texas without been afraid of heating up the engine?
Reason why I'm asking this question is because I have a harley guy as a friend and he keep trashing my little bike and keep saying that is too small for long trips... Is it true?
I'm making a soft tail bobber with it, and I was planning to ride tha hell out of it and I'd be really disappoint if I can only ride it around town.
And if this is true, there's anything I can do to keep my engine cool for longer runs?

i belive that these engines are air cooled, so as ling as you riding and have enough air to cool it down you should be fine
