2005 gsxr 750

I just purchashed this bike,Can someone tell what the engine temp. should run run when your at a red light maybe (1-mintue). I noticed it will get to a little ove 215 deg. idling. Is this normal?

that sounds about right. usally the fan kicks in at 218-222 f
and if your wearing shorts, youll start to feel the heat as soon as the fan starts up!
