Suzuki Forum - Suzuki Enthusiast Forums - 92 vs800 intruder lookin 4 ways to increase HP

I bought My intruder for 400 from a tow yard lein sale with 14k mi. Put new tires, battery, plugs, changed oil and filter and have had alot of fun on this quick lil bike for 1 1/2 yrs now. Wasnt use to the response of a shaft drive and lost it along the delta broke mirrors and bent bars but she still started and rode her home. replaced bars with stock apes off a buddies sportster and she handles Waaaaaaay better than stock bars highly recommend that change. altered the clutch and brake levers and installed harley mirrors and turn signals (it requires a spacer so the levers still operate and do not become clamped tight).

Anyway what im hoping to find here is some of you possibly experienced with this motor who could give me a few simple or cost effective mods to increase hp. 95mph top end with my 240lbs just doesnt allow me the last minute get the heck out of the way response I would like when on the freeway.

short of that I really love zipping around on this bike handles like a dream with the apes, she is light and quick off the line. oh removed the bags and added a corbin seat off a 1400 intruder. so far maybe 1200 total invested and that includes back registration. Any ideas out there I scanned a few threads and did not seem to be many responses here. On my kawi forum there were many involved and alot of discussions sharing info. Hope to find same here because I really like this lil bike.

P.S Can anyone tell me why the intruder is not listed along with the other Suzukis here? I know they discontinued them and now have the boulevard but whats up?
