coolant coming from pipe under bike.

Hi all

On here for some advice. I last had to top up my bikes coolant over 18 months ago. Tonight I was riding it for 15 minutes and the coolant light came on and I thought I could smell something. I got of the bike and noticed some fluid coming out from under the bike from a rubber pipe. It smelt like coolant. I topped up the coolant and the light when back off it only took 50 or so mls to top bike bk up to full on the reservoir. I have checked the oil through the looking glass and inspected the cap and there's no obvious sign of water getting in and mixing with oil.

I have run the bike on my drive and get the temperature up high enough to get the fan to turn on but nothing appears to be happening there's no sign of fluid coming out of the pipe.

Do any of you have any ideas?? I don't want to take it somewhere for them to rob me blind and not fix the issue if there is 1. Can this happen at times?

Matt

Check for any loose clamps that could be source of the leak. Another would be the worn water pump worsted would be a cracked block/head.
