Electrical help needed

I just finished (well - thought so) a 2 year re-build of a backyard find. Put the new battery in my 1982 GS450LZ and the only lights that came on are the oil and neutral. Clicked into first gear and the gear indicator works also. Other than those 3 things nothing....... No lights of any kind and no starter, no horn.

Any ideas on where to start looking? The fuse (I only found one during the re-build) is fine.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

PS The bike did run (for about 2 seconds at a time) before I started the re-build. Lights worked, etc. Not sure how it ran with the carbs so plugged, but it did.

Hello Bill,
One thing to check is the battery for charge/condition.
Make sure it has at least 12.5vdc & if it is liquid filled ensure all the cells are filled above the lower mark.
Hope this helps.
Chooka.

Most DC wiring problems come from poor grounding.Make sure you have good vehicle ground and then trace for power to each electric circuit

I have an residence for Lease and was inquisitive of what are my alternatives in a scenario where the renter chooses to not pay the rent promptly or at all!?

After the agreement is finalized by the renter with the appropriate conditions, but not followed.

Yes you have to found some screw driver and put out those lights from there and then buy some new light and install them on that place I hope your problem will be solved. If you face same problem after that you have to found a hammer and beat the light with full power.

Help needed with electrical/electronic project?
Hi, thier i am currently a second and final year student in college studying electrical/electronic engineering?

i need help with deciding what to build for my project, its supposed to be something basic with at least 7 components such as resistors, diodes, transistors etc. and the circuit board which am planning to use pcb.

i need help with the basic circuit and guide on how to build probably a solar powered battery charger or stereo audio amplifer with parts not costing over £20. or any other basic project ideas.

am not asking for anyone to do this for me. i am just asking for anyone whos probably done this before for some help on what to do because i dont have a clue.
