I own a GSXR1000 K2.

I am having a problem:- When i start the engine, sometimes the FI red indication lamp comes on and FI is indicated on the LCD. When i have this situation, I switch the engine off and on again. The FI indication and red lamp is intermittant. This is very annoying and i am trying to solve this problem but i do not know where to start from.

At the moment i am reading the fuel system on the service manual.

I need to know the procedure how to read the fault codes from the maintenance plug of the bike.

iam having the same problem with my 2006 gsxr1000..my bike is a 3 day old brand new bike and i hve used 4 litres of 93 high ocatane,after few kms the fi red light got switched on..cause of this i filled rest of the tank with 97 high octane..and reset the battery..the light still comes on...dude help me on this if u have solved ur problem

 

SAME PROBLEM WITH MY O6 GSXR 600 . WAS TOLD IT IS A GLITCH IN THE SYSTEM BY THE SERVICE TECHS AT OUR LOCAL SHOP. STILL PISSES ME OFF.
