GS550 tyre pressures

Default GS550 tyre pressures

Hi,

As a geriatric biker I've just bought a geratric bike! a GS550E from 1981 - yep, 26 years old as goes a storm!

One issue I have... with no manuals I am unable to find out what the cirrect tyre pressures are.. Andone able to help???

According to my manual for your model:
Front
solo rider-25psi
dual rider-25
(continuous high speed riding:solo and dual)-28

Rear
solo-28psi
Dual-36
(continuous high speed riding)
Solo-32
Dual-40

The GS is a great bike but not knowing the correct pressure has been bothering me... running the wrong pressure isa dumb way to come unstuck!

ah the good ole gs550, i just bought a 1978 gs550e the other month, which i am currently working on for when i sit my DAS.
If i had regestered here a while back i have a manual and could have jumped in here.

If ya need any more information just post, i have the dredded haynes manual and also a manual on CD - rom aswell.
