INtruder trouble ?????
My 1986 Suzuki Intruder 700 was sitting for about three weeks.
Upon trying to start it the back wheel was ceased. When I would try to start the bike it would almost turn over and lurch forward, (it was stuck in gear i assume)
I tried changing the gears to neutral, to no avail. Finally after jerking the shifter by hand I was able to get into N and start the bike I moved it to level ground and put it in 1st, stalling out the bike.
Finally I realized I needed oil, I filled it up. The ceased wheel problem persisted, but I was able to get the bike rolling a bit and it finally turned over. I drove it about a mile then killed the engine. Instead of just shutting off normally it continued trying to stay on for a few seconds then shut down.
When I try to restart the bike the wheels were still ceased. I was unable to start it in the same manner and now the bike wont even start in Neutral. It is showing less signs if life then before I put the oil in.
Any input would be appreciated!
