Hi all, I've a problem with my GSXF 1997 600cc, whereby the rev counter moves as though it's working when first starting up but as soon as you rev it the needle drops to 0 and remains there for as long as you drive it.
I've taken the clocks out and inspected them and they seem in pretty good condition with no obvious signs of electrical failure.
I'm just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and how did you overcome it?
I've heard it could be the alternator, but how would I know?
