05 gsxr 1000 F.I. light on
 

i have a 05 gsxr 1000 and since i bought it the F.I. light has been coming on . the dealer has had my bike for 3 months last year only to give up. now they have it again this year and i was told that is was fixed only to have the light come back on the next day! It mostly comes on at cold start up or hot soak for 4 hours. It sometimes stalls after it starts, somtimes it chuggy. The dealer said it's running lean at start up so they fattin up the fuel at idle? Has anyone else had this concern???

did you buy it new? check your states lemon laws...you could end up with an 06...;)

Do you have after market pipes on the bike? Ive experienced situations where people install after market pipes without a power commander, and this has been known to make problems with the Fuel Injector system..
