RE: 07 750 riders
Hey! I've had an 07 now for a couple of months nearly and have put 5000 k. on her or so. This is my third bike since I got back into riding four years ago so I am not really a novice either.
Just love the handling of the GSXR. It's the thing I like best. It makes me feel like I am a lot better. It's just so easy. Not like on my bandit, where I had to think of what I was doing all the time. This thing just makes it all seem so intuitive.
I thought the power would be scary after my bandit but it's not that bad. I just have to be careful in the wet when I nail her, as she'll go. High speeds are RIGHT NOW AVAILABLE if you so want them.
Haven't had one problem with her reliability wise. Typical bullet proof suzuki.
The brakes and tires are fantastic as well. Just seems I can hit the brakes in the wet and never worry about anything locking up or sliding. These bikes are made for racing, right, so the humdrum stuff I do on them is going to be very easy for them then.
I find the comfort okay. I've done whole 8 hour days and I am tired at the end of them but then I would be tired on any bike. There is surprisingly little turbulence so I am not fighting the wind all the time and I can just relax on the bike.
I've even had a passenger on behind me for a couple of 8 hour days. By the way, I'm 48 and my passenger is 50!! She's a trooper!!!
Just love the bike and want to keep it a long time.
Good luck.
Jim
