99 gsxr750 wont take charge
 

yo im having a nightmare. my 99 gsxr is showing 5-6 volts at the regulator. ive
changed the stator twice both of which came off of working 750 gsxr's i got a
regulator/rectifier off of a working 750 gsxr and a brand new battery.the stator
i bileve is a working one because when ever i rev the throttle the lights all
get brighter so i know the stator is what the bike is running off of, not the
battery.the bike will run forever, all day and all night, but when u turn it off
u better have a battery jumper or run with the bike and pop the clutch but no
matter what it wont start on its own, only when i have jumper box.i havent
checked the wiring everywhere but i dont even know where i would begin. ive
taken the bike apart more than a few times, im handy with my own work but i am
out of ideas for what the problem can be. can somebody please help me ive had
the problem for a year and a half and im ready to vommit my guts out, im so
tired of the problem coming back. please somebody help me.
