gsx-r1000 fuel injection light..help me
 
hi guys, i have bought a brand new suzuki gxsr 1000 2006 model a few days ago in india,the problem with the bike is the fi light which is coming on since the time we have filled in some fuel.I initially filled in 4 litres of 93 high octane, immediately after few kms the fi light started coming on.Cause of this i have later filled in 15 ltrs of 97 high octane, i disconnected the battery and then i connected it again.I still get the fi red light.Please someone advice me how to get rid of the fi red light from the bike and suggest me some measure so that i dont get this lightin futureagain ..guys please post some replies fast...wuld help me a lot. hello I think the problem with the fI light is the actuactor exhaust maybe is not working if you want to turn off the ligth just go to the cdi and cut the cable from the gray plug of the cdi and the cable is black and brown and is the number 8 counting left to right and the actuactor exhaust is gone be open and get more hp try that

Talk to the bike shop that you bought your bike from.I had the same problem with my 06 GSX R600 and i talked to the owner of the shop and they told me that the butterfly valve in the exhaust was making the light come on. they tried readjusting it a couple of times and it didnt fix the problem so they called Suzuki and got me the 2007 linkage for the butterfly and i havent had a problem since. I'm not really familiar with the 1000s and weather or not they have the same exhaust but i hope it works for you.
