just bought 01 600gsxr 11k miles, i let the bike warm up till about 120* and go to shift to first and i get a lound slamming noise and if i try to shift back to netural i feels like im breaking my toes to get it to come outta gear, same thing if im ridin and try to go 1-2, 2-3 after that its ok......does clutch need to be adjusted or just rebuilt

 

you probably need new friction plates or clutch springs i would just buy a clutch kit
