Newbie looking at an M109, need advice

Greetings to all.

I am taking the plunge and spending my hard earned cash on a 2007 Boulevard M109R with about 5,750 miles. Body work is nearly spotless, it has been taken care off religiously by the owner, comes with a brand new set of replacement tires and the cover.

All the reviews I read were very positive, I am more concerned with engine reliability and running cost. Last time I owned a bike was about 25 years ago, but I want to be back in the saddle again. It felt very comfortable and much easier to handle than its size would suggest.

Most of my friends have advised me against going the Harley Davidson route, I believe that Suzuki is one of the best manufacturers of bikes out there, you feedback would be greatly appreciated before I finalize the purchase this week in terms of anything I need to worry about or consider.

I look forward to becoming a contributing member to this forum :D
