Hey guys, new to the forums. My nephew has an 08 rmz450 that was running great after he purchased and ended up having the ECU die. His step dad has a suzuki manual for that bike specifically (iirc) and did all the troubleshooting and lead to ECU being bad. He ordered one from https://www.regulatorrectifier.com/p...0d16a8da&_ss=r and after a couple cranks it will fire up and idle for only a brief second before dying. Sometimes it'll idle a few seconds without giving it throttle but always instantly dies if the throttle is touched.

Any ideas? He's frustrated and can't figure out what's up. I'm going to help him pull the injector to clean it, new spark plug was thrown in, is it possible it's out of time? I know absolutely zero about bikes and the only thing I know is how to rebuild a ford 4.6 engine from bottom to top, so my knowledge is extremely limited. I am just trying to help out my nepehw.
