So I just picked up this '01 rm 250 ,clutch cover is off, supposedly to replace leaking gaskets, clutch is missing 3 bolts and has one with bolt head snapped off shank of bolt,I plan to drill it out and replace, not sure of the torque required for install.

newb /thanks you for help

Thank you wmatters,I actually picked up manual as I began to notice more and more 'important' looking parts in bucket guy gave me with bike.also found, lastnight, stripped treads on main gear shaft, picked up 10mmx1.25 tap, hope it's the right one, based it on two bolts from aforementioned 'bucket-of-parts' that looked as if they might have once fit shaft.
will keep you posted on progress.
thanks again,
Paul

according to my shop manual the locknuts are 36-50.5 lb/ft. Spring bolts are 8-9.5 and the union bolt is 14.5-18 lb/ft of torque
