Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.0TD - noisy engine
 

We have recently purchased a Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.0TD 2002, which we have now been told was an import from Japan and not specifically made for the UK market and that it has a peugeot engine. The engine make a loud noise, we have been told this was a problem with this year of vehicle and that it needs to be remapped, but we need to find a UK import dealership with the relevant software. Has anyone experienced this problem? Or does anyone know somewhere within the West Midlands that could carry out this work at a reasonable price? Thanks.
