Flashing temperature lights

Flashing temperature lights
My daughter has an '03 Suzuki Aerio. When she tries to start it both temperature lights come on and flash. And the car won't start. I tried to jump the car but that didnt' do anything. Please help!!!!! Thanks in advance w/ any suggestions.
