Hey ShortBus
Hey ShortBus, What are you using to keep your sub clean and shiny??? I just used Zaino Brothers polish just before the pics you see. It has been several weeks now and the car still beads like just waxed. BTW, the Zaino stuff, in my opinion, has been the easiest product with the best results I have ever tried. And I tried everything. Check out the site and hit their faq's and tips section. I also heard they they are really helpful on the phone by a friend of mine. Enjoy.

RE: Hey ShortBus
Well I have been really admiring how bold/dark your color is, and to me it looks like it may be a "polish" that your using. Which will keep the color strong becuase its really just applying fats to the paint. But for real protection you should look into a sealant as well as a good carnuba. The sealant will give it that deep gloss and will really bring out the reflections...and a wax will protect your finish.
Im really sick about detailing my car(although I really need to tend to mine currently) I tend to "layer" my products(using only Meguiar's products) starting with a paint cleaner and/or claybar, then polish(maybe 2 layers of polish), then sealant, then carnuba. The whole process usually takes a couple of weekends(its kind of a hobby for me) but its alot simplier and faster if you use a buffer...I picked up a cheap one @ about 20 bucks, just make sure you buy and use only clean bonnets.

I thought so too about the wax. Meguires products are ok and I have used them on several occasions, but you've got to check out these Zaino products. You'll never look twice at the Pep Boys selections again. It's been three weeks since I used Zainos and only use their gloss enhancer after washing the car and it beads water like I did it ten minutes ago. I still use a clay bar to get the paint pure and then onto the Zaino products. Trust me, it will be the best $60 you will ever spend. Since you are like me and like to layer and keep it clean, you'll be able to add more coats in a much shorter time. Good luck and talk to you soon.
