I dont have an SX But I have done it on an '03sedan model. Im not sure if the interior is the same but I think they are. Just pry up on the trim piece that surrounds the clock/temp gauge. It may see like it does not want to come off but it will, it is only fastened by pressure clips. Then, take out the 2 screws that hold the gauge to the car. Then unplug the wiring harness to get the gauge completely loose from the car. Then, pry the back cover of the gauge off and the bulb should be right inside.

Great idea I just came from the dealership and saw the layout of the dash. That light not replacable in there mag they want $103.00 bucks for a new one. I havn't tried what you just said but makes for a great weekend project.
