My CD cannot eject from my player

My CD cannot eject from my player
Does anybody have the same problem? Whenever I press eject, it gives off multiple 'tick' sounds (as if it was jammed or something) but doesn't eject the CD. And after that, it cannot detect the CD in the player anymore until I restart the engine. However if I don't press the eject, it can read the CD and play it even...until I press eject and then have to restart the engine again for the player to read the CD. I own a 2003 Aerio.

RE: My CD cannot eject from my player
yeah still got 16k left on my 36k warrenty but im getting a new deck upgrade my sound system. Such as spker 6 1/2 kicker(4) SL60 with an kicker solo L5 sub and mono amp kx400.1 it's pretty sweet. At first I didnt want to give up my 6cd player but my sound from the unit is lagging so time to shop for a new unit. Plus the cd unit is always skips or won't play. I went to the dealer and they exchg the whole system so I took out the new spkers and replace with the kicker spker. The new unit does the same thing so it's time for a new unit my temp fix was to disconnect the battery but I got sick of doing this every other day

I had the same problem, the changer sucks...i want to get a new deck very soon, but for now i grit my teeth and smack the thing...gently...till the cd comes out..gears must be jamming or something.
Sometimes the dust cover opens, and you can see the cd, but it's not comin....but you hear it trying..so i poke at the cd with a cd
