RE: Tell us bout your Aerio
Mine is an 03 in Electric Yellow with 45k on it so far. Here are the mods:
AEM cold air intake Upper srtut brace in front Poly bushings for front sway bar Larger rear sway bar Excel TZ-7's @ 17x7 with 205/40/17 Kumho 711's |
RE: Tell us bout your Aerio
Whered you get that strut tower brace? Is it a Rotaional Dynamics or what?
And hows that AEM workin out for you? I had some major fitment problems with mine...and went through hell with AEM the company afterwards, only after about 2-3 months use...I wasnt please[:@] And wow! Youve got about 15k more miles than me...you must travel alot huh? |
RE: Tell us bout your Aerio
Mine bolted right in. I had to relocate the ps bottle, which I wasn't too happy with the mounting. The cold air pipe hit the ac lines while backing up, so I took a ball peen hammer and dented in the pipe a little and put some heavy rubber tubing around the line where it hit. That was a combo because the upper strut bar caused half of the problem.

RE: Tell us bout your Aerio
my aerio sx is 2005 white , just got it last week ., love it so far. nice ride, great features for price, good mileage, close to 25 around town. the car has power and like ppl say u hear it. it makes some noise, which i dont mind. i believe it has to do with the timing chain vs other cars using a timing belt. no one mentions that. the chain is a better way to go, but the downside is some noise.

RE: Tell us bout your Aerio
Mine is currently a 2006 White Aerio Sx with 122 miles on it almost got the blue but went with white due to wife. I plan on tinting the windows first and foremost then would like to find the oem cruise control and add that. Then the stock speakers have got to go, followed soon by adding a small sub in the rear boot with a small Punch amp. Then im not going to ruin my great 30mpg to much so i figured id do the strut tower braces and maybe rims and lastly a small exhaust and cai. Not much compared to the mustang :) since this is now my daily driver/work/drop the kids off car :)

RE: Tell us bout your Aerio
I have a 2005 Suzuki Aerio SX Silver. All stock except for tinted windows in the back. Love this car, traded in a 2003 Honda Civic Coupe for it! Well worth it! Thinking of upgrades in the near future but noticed that from 2005 and up there are slim-pickings. Concentrating on some 17" rims and tires and a slight lowering job on it. Also a front strutbar. Will keep all in tuned.

I upgraded the headlights on the 04 but can not get the fog light bulbs out to upograde them. Does anyone know how to remove them? Not enough room to remove bulbs.

RE: Tell us bout your Aerio
[:@]I currently own an 06 SX Silver AWD but have also owned an Ice Blue 05 SX AWD. Put 35,000 plus in two years on the 05. I ran it hard and had no problems with it mechanically..........but.......the Yokohama tires were only good for 21k.....and I put front brakes on it at 30k....[:'(] I loved the car so much that when I read that Suzuki was not going to make it any more I had a dealer locate a leftover 06 and I bought it on the spot. I was aware from reading things on the web that in 06 they would make ABS standard but I wasn't aware that they were going to take away cruise control and the 6-disc CD and fog lamps and color matched mirrors boo hisss. Does anyone know about retro fitting cruise into this car....................I miss that feature the most . This car took me through one of the roughest Chicago winters this year with snow and ice on a daily 60 mile commute without getting stuck once and all the while getting 24mpg average

RE: Tell us bout your Aerio
I just bought my 2002 Aerio Sx in Vegas in May, 2007. Drove it home to So. CA. Originally wanted a used Scion tC, but even used they were way too expensive, even theones from the bottom of the river that have been paid offby some insurance co.
Anyway, my used Aerio SX was half the priceof the used Scion, only had 53,000 miles on it andis showroom condition in every way. I love my car. It has sooo many nice little features, like the light that comes on when you pull out the ashtray...and the keyless entry. I've added an alarm and tinted the windows-sweet!My 5 speed is sofun to drive, it's already got 60,000 miles on it--7,000 in 2 mos! |
RE: Tell us bout your Aerio
mine is a 2005 white with 17 k on her. no problems. just changed front pads , which i thought was soon but i put in premium ones hopefully will get more mileage than 17k on them . love the car

RE: Tell us bout your Aerio
I had a '02 Gold GLX sedan, but got rear-ended 4 weeks ago... hit by a Buick going about 100km/h while waiting at a stop light. Car was a total write-off, but my wife and I walked away with nothing broken. Needless to say I now have an '03 Silver GL hatchback.

RE: Tell us bout your Aerio
My 04 Aerio SX auto is still holding true 55055(not a typo)miles on it. Other then my system nothing really changed since my post of the pic on this site under my profile. I bought my Aerio New in 2004 in which I found this club. Still have the front Tie bar, Tires are wearing even, I'm getting 26 mpg. I have the K&N drop in filter I figured out that I have to recharge it every 6 months to keep it in top performence since I live here in NM, dusty.

RE: Tell us bout your Aerio
mine is a 2005 25000 so far excellent car . i changed front pads and i have squeak issues. i then applied anti squeak to back of pads but squeak came back. i think maybe pads are glazed. other than that good car.
|
I have a 2003 Cat's Eye Blue SX w/ 81000 miles. It's all stock so far. I'm trying to work out a few bugs that have popped up recently. Clunking in the front end (most likely sway bar related from what I've read), and most recently, my A/C keeps cycling on and off irregularly. I don't have a local dealer anymore. Nor do I own the FSM, but I plan on purchasing that very soon. Other than those two problems, I've had nothing but great experiences with the car.

Tell us bout your Aerio
I am looking to buy my first R/C tank. The ones I am seeing I do not like because the have one or two speed that are on or off, can not be varied and they would be 900 MPH if it was a real tank. Im looking at your Item: 3848_PanzerKampfwagenTank and Item: 3849-TauchPanzerIII-TankIn the description it says "accelerating speed forward, backward, accelerating speed backward". Does this mean that when you start the tank you can do so slow and build up speed as you wish? Does it have variable speed not just on or off or two levels?ThanksSteve
