I got a really good deal (on eBay) on my 2005 AWD model, from a really nice guy (U.S. Army sergeant), in Pittsburg!

I'm still trying to get used to the slight 'shimmy' feeling when I'm driving on really icy roads; but - with good winter tyres fitted - its ability in quite deep snow is very impressive ... despite what appears to be a fairly low front ground-clearance.

I'm enjoying the car except for one, really annoying detail. I hate the fact that the door locks operate automatically, before driving away. The number of times I've had to go searching for the spare key (I now keep one taped under the rear bumper), when I've started the car and then walked away whilst it's locked itself, is depressing. I guess I'm a really slow learner.

With European rental cars, the door locks don't engage automatically until the car has been driven a short way. Does anyone know if Suzuki locks can be reprogramed?

Se ya' later, Seadog.
