Well my tire guy is a very reliable guy he's been in the tire biz for will over 10 years and he a sures me that they will not rub.
Im sorry but I hate experts...maybe Im wrong, maybe they wont rub...but just cause a guy does something for a living for 10 years doesnt make him an expert. He might think he knows, but I assure you HE knows nothing about an Aerio! Fact is hes a salesman, paid to push product...I wish you luck on your purchase and hope to read favorable reviews...18s would look hot...and even better at a traffic light in my rearview mirror!!!

When you say "no rubbing" what do you mean? Driving in a straight line with no other passengers?

I had about three other guys in the Aerio and no rubbing on turns etc. Wheels make the car taller about an inch and a half. Looks like they belong to the Aerio Stock i'm trying to post pics but too high res have a 6 megapix digi cam.

First blow out today went back to the to my guy and it seems the tech put the wheels on wrong talk to my friend and recommend him to just take them back or exchange them so now I'm looking at some tenzo passion 5 17 inch w/ Falkin 502 rubber. [:@]

Could you explain all of that a little better, its very vague. But Im guessing the short sidewall was too short and you had a blow out? And/or how did he put them on wrong? Did he not use hub-centric rings? Or what?

So would you recommend 18s to anyone else with an Aerio in the future?

Well he explain to me that yes the sidewell was short and when they did the alignment the spec on there system where for a different vehicule at the time. therefore I drove on them for a week and after a while stress the front driver wheel and rear driver wheel therefore the blowout. I'm still shopping I just puton new rubber for the stock Falken ZE 502 p205/50R15 not bad got better get up and go feel.
