1982 GS550L Carburetor Problems

Hey all,

I just purchased an 82' GS550L that had been garaged for about 15 years. So of course, my carburetor was completely gunked up from the old gas. This is my first bike so keep in mind my technical knowledge is very minimal.

My dad and I cleaned out the carburetor piece by piece and mixed some SeaFoam into the gas. We got the bike to run with the choke completely closed but as soon as you open it, it dies.

I assume that there is still something clogged in the carburetor, but I have taken this thing apart 5 times and completely cleaned it. Could there be anything else messing up the gas mixture? The carburetor seems to be in good shape so I don't think I need to replace it.

Thanks!

I Have been having some problems with my GC with Xeno CHIP

I used IMAGEBURN at x4 speed INCREMENTAL mode, in mini dvd RIDATA and sometimes works and other it doesnt....
I read a guide and it says that:
I have to burn with Nero 7
MODE: Disk at Once
Speed: x2,4
Disk: Mini ridata RITEK G04

I have nero 7 but i dont want to throw away a lot of mini dvds, would you recommend something??
Thanks..

A little point relative with this post: sometimes there will be many targets on the ABRIS and its confusing; is it possible to clear all these targets from the ABRIS?

Even I've been hunting for a used one because new one is bit expensive. Once I will find out will surely post my reply on this.
