Rim polishing
Thought I would share rim polishing (outside edges)on the M50.
Great result and looks fantastic. No need to remove the tyres from the rim.
[ol][*]Mask off areas not to be stripped (masking Tape)[*]Apply stripper - aluminum compatable (non-caustic) "Septone" Australian brand works a treat, but sure there are numerous brands that are good.[*]Brush off paint after about 15 mins (check manufacturers instructions)[*]Spray rim off with water using the hose to remove unwanted paint and stripper - focus on where the tyre meets the rim[*]Remove any excess small paint particles with steel wool[*]Remove tape and polish - I found "Mothers" brandto be fantastic stuff.[*]Total cost for me was $48, elbow grease and time - how easy!![/ol]
