Default S50, M50, or S83???

Hello all from Vermont!
Title tells the story. I am curious about thoughts on these three zukis. I am a relatively experienced rider, and wonder about handling, acceleration, etc.
Oh, btw, great site!
Cheers!
T

Sorry for the double post, thought it should be here, not where I first posted!

I guess it depends on how you will be riding. I'd say the S models are better for short stints around town, lighter and easier to turn. Better for the city. The M models are wider and heavier, much more comfy for highway hauls. I bought an M50z for my first bike, and I love it. It's my daily driver, so I'm on her at least 1.5 hrs a day. The S models just weren't an option for me, based on the comfort.

I bought my 2005 m50 this about 5 months ago with 2500 miles, I've crossed 6000 miles now. I use it to commute and run around town as well as weekend rides and a long trip of 750 miles. It handles well, is comfortable and has power. Needless to say, I would buy this bike again without a second thought. I do agree with the last post about the s models being smaller/narrow framed and not as comfortable for the long haul unless you're a smaller rider.

Have any body looked at the dates of the post? Don't you think the person had purchased the one he liked instead of waiting for so long (around 2 years)?
