motorcycle for short rider?

I looked into that, too. I'm 5'6", so I empathize. I believe it can be lowered maybe 3/4 of an inch, but remember that lowering alters the way it handles. You can also mod the seat—as I have seen some shorter riders do—by hacking out the seat foam. Not that I advocate for that. Guess it depends on how sore you're willing to have your behind for the sake of a bike.

I believe that the upgraded Suzuki gel seat for this bike rides just over 1" lower. Here is the Suzuki link for that item: http://www.suzukicycles.com/Accessor...3-91010e7479c8 Also, look for an aftermarket seat and contact the manufacturer for specs. Post again and let us know what you find.
I'm 6'1" and don't have much of a problem with my seat height. The salesman at Spokane Powersports is a probably 5'10" and loves the gel seat.
